Kids on Campus Children's Centre is seeking a qualified Early childhood Educator to join our team.

We are a non-profit, licensed child care program dedicated to providing high-quality early learning experiences in a welcoming and inclusive environment. We are looking for an educator who shares these values and is committed to providing quality care and learning experiences for infants and toddlers.

Position Responsibilities

• Provide a safe, nurturing, and inclusive environment for children.
• Plan and implement developmentally appropriate, play-based learning experiences.
• Observe and document children's learning and development.
• Foster positive relationships with children, families, and team members.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and engaging learning environment.
• Comply with licensing regulations, health and safety requirements, and centre policies.

Qualifications

• Valid BC Early Childhood Educator (ECE) Certificate to Practice.
• Current First Aid Certificate.
• Clear Criminal Record Check.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Commitment to providing high-quality, inclusive early learning experiences.

Compensation & Benefits

• Starting wage of $22.00 per hour (Step 1 of the Centre's five-step wage grid), with annual wage progression to a maximum of Step 5 for eligible permanent employees.

Position Details

• This is a temporary full-time position to cover a maternity leave, with an anticipated start date of Sept 1/2026 and ending date to be determined.
