Position Responsibilities
• Provide a safe, nurturing, and inclusive environment for children.
• Plan and implement developmentally appropriate, play-based learning experiences.
• Observe and document children's learning and development.
• Foster positive relationships with children, families, and team members.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and engaging learning environment.
• Comply with licensing regulations, health and safety requirements, and centre policies.
Qualifications
• Valid BC Early Childhood Educator (ECE) or Early Childhood Educator Assistant (ECEA) Certificate to Practice.
• Current First Aid Certificate.
• Clear Criminal Record Check.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Commitment to providing high-quality, inclusive early learning experiences.
Compensation & Benefits
• Starting wage of $20.00-$22.00 per hour (Step 1 of the Centre's five-step wage grid).

Position Details
This is a temporary position for 25-40 hours per week, with an immediate start date and a to be determined end date.
